Wow!…now this was exciting. I always wanted to learn how to edit and make videos. Even though I am far from being an expert, I at least now have received some exposure to the movie making process. At least I can now speak the same language as some of my students who are profoundly more knowledgeable on the subject. Techniques such as angles, wide frames, background, balance, and microphone manipulation was fun to learn the way we approached it in class. Learn as we go…that certainly is how we approached this project.
I am a little frustrated because we use PC’s at my work and we are learning on Macs. I am now encouraged to search for more grants and fundraise to increment current levels of funds for our school’s journalism program. I hope to post a video soon.
