Joanna here.  I am so looking forward to meeting everyone tomorrow.  Found this in Photoworks magazine from England today.  It still astonishes me when I see someone from the mountains making good.  The name of her town would be so stereotypical if it weren't the plain truth.  The attached article talks about the detailed storytelling  that accompanies her work.  These were my people.  I am hoping that I learn how to do this storytelling effectively and I yearn to meet others who do, too.  Then . . . and it is a big then . . .  impart it to my students with our newspaper.    Happy and "lucky" travels everyone!
